Proppa Limited ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Personal information: Name, email address, and contact details you provide when you book a demo or contact us.
Property information: Details about your residential block, such as block size, that you voluntarily provide.
Usage data: Information about how you interact with our website, including pages visited and referring URLs.
Device information: Browser type, operating system, and screen size collected automatically.

3. What data we collect

We collect the following personal data when you use Proppa:

From building directors and account holders: full name, email address, building name and address, number of flats, and billing information (processed securely via GoCardless; we do not store card or bank details directly).
From leaseholders invited to the platform: full name and email address, and any information they choose to add to their profile.
From visitors to proppa.io: aggregated, anonymous analytics (pages visited, country, browser and device type) collected by Vercel Web Analytics. This uses no cookies and does not identify you. We do not collect personally identifiable information from website visitors unless you contact us or book a demo.

4. How we use your data

We use your data to provide and improve the Proppa platform, send transactional emails including setup links, payment notifications, and building updates, contact you about your subscription, and comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

5. Leaseholder data

When a building director invites leaseholders to Proppa, those leaseholders' names and email addresses are stored on our platform. By inviting leaseholders, the building director confirms they have the authority to do so and that leaseholders have been made aware of Proppa's use within the building. Leaseholders may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting hello@proppa.io.

6. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure in London, United Kingdom. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorised Proppa staff only.

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data (subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it), object to or restrict processing of your data, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@proppa.io. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own. Our analytics use no cookies. The Proppa app (app.proppa.io) uses essential cookies only, to keep you signed in; these cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and delivering our services (hosting, email delivery, payment collection and demo bookings), subject to appropriate data protection agreements.

10. Data retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
